What to expect when you come for a visit
Skyview Dental is committed to providing you and your family with gentle, high quality dental care. At your first visit, we will do a complete examination which will include taking digital x-ray, and a full visual examination of your mouth. We also take intraoral pictures of all areas of your mouth to help demonstrate and educate you on the status of your personal oral health. To provide you with the best possible care, please bring the following with you to your first appointment: a list of your current medications, any current x-rays (within the past year for check-up x-rays, 5 years for a panorex x-ray). If you contact your former dentist prior to your appointment at our office, they can often forward any current records to our office to reduce the number that will need to be taken at our office. If you have any dental insurance, please bring your insurance card or coverage information (Plan, Group, ID numbers) With this information, our office can bill most dental claims electronically.
Our clinic is open extended hours including 2 evenings per week and one or two Saturdays per month. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day. We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. As we provide many types of dental services, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergency cases can also arise and cause delays.
