For your convenience, Skyview Dental accepts cash, cheque, VISA, MasterCard and debit as payment. We endeavor to deliver the finest care at a reasonable cost to our patients. Therefore, payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account or quoted fees, please contact us. If you require payment arrangements such as a payment plan, we will gladly try to accommodate you, however, these arrangements will be made at the discretion of Dr. Don Minato.

Insurance

For your convenience we welcome all insurance plans

We recognize that a trip to the dentist can be expensive, which is why at Skyview Dental we accept all forms of insurance coverage, and as a courtesy to our patient’s we also offer direct billing as long as your policy allows it. Alberta does not have a standard dental fee guide, therefore Dentists are able to set their own fees according to their own individual practice. Materials, time, supplies/equipment and staffing are all taken into consideration when fees are set. Insurance companies also set their own fee allowances for dental treatment. Therefore, it is important that individuals with dental insurance coverage recognize that some companies pay fixed amounts for treatment while others pay a percentage. Neither guarantees you full payment for all treatment and it is the patient’s responsibility to pay any deductibles, co-insurance amounts or any other portion not covered by your insurance. We highly recommend that you know and understand your own dental insurance policy.

Upon request by the patient or upon the recommendation of the dentist/dental team, our office will be happy to send pre-authorizations to insurance companies in order to receive more accurate estimates regarding coverage for treatment.

Cancellation Policy

This is a courtesy to other patients who are waiting for appointments and to keep our patient fees as reasonable as possible.  We appreciate your understanding  with regards to this matter. Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment for any reason, we do now require and minimum 48 hours notice prior to the scheduled appointment time. If we do not receive adequate notice, there will be a $50.00 cancellation/missed appointment fee automatically applied to your account and we will not be able to to rebook your appointment or provide further treatment until this fee has been paid.
